OTA isn’t just for belonging and inclusion officers, we also support marketing and communications officers, government affairs staff, HR, legal and the C-suite.

Exceptional Content and Tools to Support Your Business Goals

Open to All strives to deliver exceptional resources for every stage of your inclusion journey. OTA provides top-tier content spanning foundational principles to cutting-edge thought leadership and innovation. Whether your company is looking to deepen your knowledge of inclusion basics or tie initiatives to business impact, our learning opportunities equip companies with the tools they need to more easily navigate this ever-evolving landscape.

Increased Effectiveness and Impact of Belonging Staff

Inclusion officers frequently tell us how challenging, exhausting, and even isolating their jobs can be. Especially in times of political and social upheaval, having a network of like-minded individuals can make all the difference. Providing a support network for your belonging staff increases innovation, reduces burnout and turnover, and increases ability to have impact.

Our Community

OTA helps companies not only successfully navigate today’s complexities — but innovate and thrive.

Belonging initiatives are becoming increasingly complex to navigate. Open to All’s mission and approach are to help companies that are authentically on the journey to create a culture of belonging. Our approach is rooted in partnership and support as opposed to lecturing or blaming companies for not being further along or for not being perfect.

We work with a range of companies including those who are innovating DEI practices and integrating them throughout every part of their company, to those who are struggling in the current political environment or who don’t have full C-suite buy-in.

Open to All Resources

In addition to our open-sourced resources on our website, Open to All has many resources only available to our members, including:

OTA launched a 100+ page Employee Resource Group Leadership Guidebook, published in partnership with Capri Holdings/Michael Kors and Seramount. We surveyed OTA members about their ERG programs and wrote case studies to address such topics as including part-time retail sales associates, best practices for working with communities of faith, intersecting identities (such as LGBTQ people of color), and how to manage ERGs globally.

VF Corporation’s Limitless Learning Retail Apprenticeship program is a year-long program that grants retail associates the chance to develop new skills and make connections in a corporate setting.  Open to All and VFC collaborated to create a blueprint for those interested in starting their own pilot apprenticeship program.

In partnership with the Retail Industry Leaders Association, Right To Be, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, OTA produced a toolkit to manage crisis communications, public safety, brand reputation, protecting employees and customers from harassment and violence, and hearing from survivors and loved ones of hate-motivated violence, including retail locations.
