Our Team

Calla Devlin (she/her)

Managing Director

Calla Devlin is the managing director of Open to All, where she convenes the nonprofit sector with businesses to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Calla has 20 years’ nonprofit experience creating and implementing national and state-level communications and public education campaigns focusing on discrimination and civil rights. She has worked extensively in coalitions, including with civil rights groups, businesses, labor unions, faith leaders, and advocacy organizations. She started her career in the book and publishing industry, where she specialized in news-driven marketing and communications campaigns that positioned authors as experts, addressing such topics as Islamophobia, the freedom to marry for LGBTQ people, and religious tolerance. An accomplished author, Calla’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree in Humanities, Master of Arts degree in Fiction, and a certification in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion from Cornell University.

Sarita Chourey (she/her)

Director of Programs and Communications

Sarita Chourey began her career as a journalist covering Congress for The Hill, local government and public schools for the Kalamazoo (Mich.) Gazette, and the South Carolina Legislature and state agencies for a group of print media outlets across the Southeast, including the Savannah Morning News and the Augusta (Ga.) Chronicle. Most recently she worked in strategic communications at Furman University and advocated for local governments for the Municipal Association of South Carolina. She holds a B.A. in journalism from Indiana University and an M.A. in communications from Stanford University. Sarita and her husband are active foster parents and adopted a 6-year-old girl in 2023.

Kassidy Braziel (she/her)

Communications and Programs Associate

Kassidy Braziel serves as communications and programs associate for Open to All. Kassidy graduated from Florida State University where she earned a bachelor’s degree in media communication with a specialization in social entrepreneurship. Blending her passion for justice and prior learning experiences in public relations and policy, Kassidy manages Open to All’s social media presence, generates written and digital content, and provides programmatic support.

Cruz Arroyo (he/him)

Movement Building and Capacity Strategist

Cruz Arroyo serves as Movement Building and Capacity Strategist. He is also one of the ACLS Leading Edge Fellows from the 2023 cohort. He works with both the Movement Advancement Project’s LGBTQ policy team as well as Open to All. In addition to the movement building and capacity work, he also works on building new impact measurement and program evaluation metrics for Open to All programming. He received his Ph.D. in English from the University of Southern California and currently resides in Los Angeles.
